Reshaping passenger experience
OBSERVATIONAL STUDY INFORMING BOSTON AIRPORT DESIGN DECISIONS

While working as a designer at Arrowstreet, I was part of a multidisciplinary team delivering multiple projects for Massport at Boston Logan International Airport. This passenger journey study at Terminal E, conducted in collaboration with UX Architecture Studio, was one component of a broader effort to reshape the passenger experience and inform long-term design decisions across the airport. The core study team consisted of four designers—two from Arrowstreet and two from UX Architecture Studio—including myself.

As part of the core design team, I contributed to a three-week on-site study focused on how passengers navigate the terminal, documenting the existing passenger experience and the factors shaping it. My work spanned observation, journey mapping, surveys, and passenger interviews, grounding design decisions in real user behavior.

Following the study, I supported the synthesis of findings and translated insights into clear visual narratives and graphics. These outputs helped align stakeholders, communicate opportunities, and guide broader design direction across related airport projects.
